Olive chat — a supportive conversation in progress

1 in 5

adults experience a mental health challenge each year — most never take a first step toward support.

Bridge

First-line listening and a scaffolded path to real-world care — under your control.

Private

Nothing leaves the app unless you choose to export it. Memory is yours to control.

What is Olive

The privacy-first bridge from emotional support to real-world care.

Olive is a supportive companion that listens in the moment — and helps you cross the bridge into professional or community care when you're ready, with your memory and context in tow, so you don't have to start from scratch.

We built Olive because the gap between “I need support” and “I found real help” is where too many people get stuck. Olive closes that gap — without overpromising what it is.

Listens firstConversations are paced to understand before offering. Olive follows your lead, not a script.

Memory you controlEverything Olive remembers is visible, editable, and deletable — or you can turn memory off entirely.

Bridge modelFind Care and Find Support are separate flows. Clinical providers and community resources are never mixed.

How Olive Helps

From first conversation to real-world care — on your terms.

Every feature maps to something Olive does today or is rolling out in the current beta.

Supportive Chat

A companion that listens first.

Olive opens every conversation by listening, not advising. Streaming responses, phase-aware pacing, and three chat styles — Olive, Socratic, and Values — adapt to what you actually need in the moment.

Memory Vault

Memory that you control.

Olive remembers what matters across conversations — categorized, editable, and always visible. Pin what to keep, hide what not to use, or turn memory off entirely. Your history, your rules.

Find Care · Find Support

Just say what you need. Olive finds it.

Tell Olive you're looking for a therapist, a grief support group, or a warmline — in plain language, mid-conversation. Olive reads the context, routes the right search, and returns results directly in chat. Clinical providers (Find Care) and community resources (Find Support) are always separate flows, never mixed. Canada-first in current beta.

Care Bridge

Ready when you're ready.

Save any provider or resource from your search results directly to your Care Bridge. Generate an editable handoff brief drawn from your conversations and memories — with scripts for your first call, email, or appointment. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to export it.

Honest Boundaries

Honest about what it isn't.

Olive is not therapy, not diagnosis, and not a crisis line. A multi-pass response pipeline ensures every conversation respects these limits — and surfaces locale-correct crisis resources (9-8-8 Canada / 988 US) when they matter.

The Experience

Olive listens, understands what you need, and does the work.

Tell Olive how you're feeling or what you're looking for — in plain language — and it finds the right support, right in the conversation.

Why Olive

Five things that make Olive different.

We take the responsibility of building in this space seriously. Olive is made with honesty, restraint, and deep respect for the people who use it.

“Olive's category compounds credibility. Overclaiming creates immediate trust debt with exactly the clinicians, investors, and cautious users we want to earn.”

— The Olive team

Bridge model, not a standalone app.

Olive is the first-line companion AND the scaffolded path to professional or peer care — under your control. Most apps stop at the first part. Olive closes the loop.

Memory continuity with user sovereignty.

You can see, edit, suppress by category, pin, hide, or forget everything Olive remembers. A master off-switch exists. This is not a data vacuum — it's a transparent memory system.

Two distinct search families, never mixed.

Find Care surfaces clinical providers (therapists, counsellors, psychologists, psychiatrists). Find Support surfaces community and peer resources. The intent router keeps them separate — always.

Benchmarked conversation quality.

Every response goes through a multi-pass pipeline: clinical-content pass, voice rewrite pass, crisis-validation pass. Tuned against an exemplar suite enforcing phase awareness and MI-style roll-with-resistance.

Scope boundaries you can quote.

Non-clinical. Crisis-aware with locale-correct resources. Never auto-sends your data. The disclaimer is baked into first launch, the memory panel, and the Care Bridge export flow — not buried in a footer.

Safety · Privacy · Scope

Not therapy

Olive is a supportive companion, not a clinical service. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

Not a crisis line

If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or reach the crisis line for your country: 9-8-8 (Canada) · 988 (US)

Memory is opt-in and user-controlled

You can view, edit, hide, or delete every memory. A master toggle lets you turn memory off entirely.

Handoffs are never auto-sent

Care Bridge briefs and scripts stay private. Every export — Copy, Share, PDF, Email, Call — is a deliberate user action.

Canada-first in current beta

Curated support resources are Canadian-first. Schedules and eligibility can change — always confirm directly before attending.
